Screen printing is the most common decoration method for custom t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other custom apparel products. In screen printing, your custom design is exposed onto a mesh screen, washed, set up on our press then using a squeegee-type blade, the ink is passed through the screen onto the shirt. The ink is then dry cured through a conveyer dryer which raises the temperature of the ink to 320 degrees Fahrenheit.

Screen printing is often referred to as silk printing because in the past, silk was the material used on the screen before synthetic mesh screen was created.

Entripy has 5 M&R automatic presses that can output over 6,000 prints per hour. We use only the finest quality Plastisol inks, which are free of harmful leads and Phthalates and as well ensure a vibrant colour that will not crack, chip or fade. Even after hundreds of washes, custom t-shirts made through screen printing should maintain their appeal, although we like to remind our clients that their wear and care for the custom garment will affect its lifespan.

The cost of screen printing varies by quantity and the number of colours in your design. Each time a colour is added to the design, a new screen needs to be made.

Direct to Film, the latest in on-demand garment print technology, blends the durability of heat transfer with the artwork accuracy of Direct to Garment (DTG). It's a print method that involves printing your design onto a special film (PET, or Polyethylene Terephthalate) which is then applied with heat and pressure onto your apparel.

In custom embroidery, your design is sewed onto your chosen garment using a needle and polyester thread. Entripy uses world-standard isacord threads and the best embroidery machines available (made by Japan’s Tajima brand) to embroider hats, custom hoodies, golf shirts and customized jackets.

With custom embroidery, a backing is put on the inner portion of the garment to keep the stitches together and ensure the design does not unravel. The backings are extremely durable and meant to last the test of time.

Embroidery is a fully automated process where the machines read a digitized pattern from a file and reproduce the pattern. Digitizing is a process whereby your artwork is converted into digital data by plotting the points of the design. Some custom logos will have to be simplified to achieve the best embroidery results for your custom clothing. Entripy digitizes logos faster than any of our competitors. (If you have your own embroidery machine and simply need your logo digitized, we can accommodate).

The cost of embroidery varies based on the number of stitches in a logo. The larger and more detailed the logo, the higher the stitch count will be. The average speed of our machines is 800 stitches per minute.
 

Twill decoration is a popular method used by many colleges and universities on their school custom sweatshirts and fleece and gives garments a prestigious look. It’s also the most expensive method of decoration. To customize clothing using twill, the twill material is cut using a plotter (a machine that reads commands for plotting lines and measuring angles), then sewn onto the garment using a custom embroidery machine. You can choose from a variety of twill colours and solid or zigzag stitching. Some logos will need to be simplified to achieve the best results with twill.
