Entripy.com Welcomes Finance Minister Bill Morneau and Liberal Candidate Anita Anand for Company Tour
Oakville -- Canada's Minister of Finance the Hon. Bill Morneau and Oakville Liberal Candidate Anita Anand visited Oakville's Entripy for a tour of their state-of-the-art production plant and head office this week. Entripy is Canada's largest producer of custom apparel and produces custom t-shirts, hats, uniforms and much more for clients across Canada and beyond. Company CEO Jas Brar started making T-shirts in his basement as a high school student and has now grown the company to more than 165 of employees.
"It was such an honour to have Minister Morneau and Anita Anand tour our plant," says Brar. "We enjoy every opportunity to showcase how we're creating quality jobs right here in Canada and to tell our entrepreneurial story. I hope it will inspire others, especially young people, to try building a business and pursing their passion."
Most recently Entripy had the special task of producing Toronto Raptors T-shirts for the playoffs and the Championship. Their clients range from small businesses and schools to major corporations and sports organizations such as Tim Hortons and MLSE.
"I was in Oakville with the local Liberal candidate Anita to talk about how we've delivered positive change for Canadian businesses and how, with Anita's help, we'll encourage new investment," said Minister Morneau. "By cutting small business taxes, businesses like Entripy now enjoy the lowest tax rate on new business investment in the G7-and they're using it to create more good jobs."
"It was such a pleasure to visit Entripy and hear about its journey," said Anita Anand Oakville Federal Liberal Candidate. "I was so impressed by its innovation, diverse workforce and executive team. Entripy is a true Canadian success story."
